HCEA Work Days
March 11, 2026 @ 8:00 am - 7:00 pm
Every Wednesday Daytime Into Early Evening
Heritage equipment comes alive every Wednesday at HCEA Canada’s Members-Only Work Days. These weekly hands-on sessions invite members to the Simcoe County Museum to help restore, maintain, and operate Canada’s historic construction machinery.
Whether you’re passionate about heavy equipment, interested in preservation, or simply looking to reconnect with fellow enthusiasts, Work Days offer the perfect opportunity to get involved.
What Are Work Days?
HCEA Canada’s Work Days are dedicated on-site volunteer sessions held every Wednesday, beginning in the morning and running into the early evening. These days are focused on:
- Restoration and maintenance of vintage construction equipment
- Preparing machinery for exhibitions and public events
- Yard organization, repairs, painting, and technical projects
- Sharing knowledge between experienced volunteers and new members
- Strengthening the community around Canada’s construction equipment heritage
No prior mechanical experience is required—just enthusiasm, curiosity, and a willingness to get your hands a bit dirty.
Who Can Attend?
These sessions are exclusively for active HCEA Canada members.
If you’re not yet a member and want to participate, you can join online at hceacanada.org.
