Become a member and join us every Wednesday at the Simcoe County Museum for hands-on preservation projects!
Are you an enthusiastic member of the Historical Construction Equipment Association of Canada (HCEA)? If so, we invite you to take part in our exclusive Work Days, where members come together every Wednesday at the Simcoe County Museum to maintain, restore, and preserve our nation’s treasured construction equipment.

Work Day Schedule
Time: Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm
Location: Simcoe County Museum, 1151 Highway 26, Minesing, ON L9X 0Z7, Canada
What to Expect
As an HCEA member, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Engage in hands-on restoration and preservation projects, working closely with historical construction equipment.
- Network and collaborate with fellow members who share your passion for construction history.
- Develop valuable skills in equipment maintenance, restoration, and preservation techniques.
- Contribute to the ongoing legacy of Canada’s construction heritage.
What to Bring
Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Personal protective equipment, such as gloves and safety glasses, is also recommended.
