Introduction
The Historical Construction Equipment Association of Canada (HCEAC) is dedicated to preserving and restoring construction equipment artifacts through the support of our community and passionate members.
Donations & Support
All artifacts are donated, and restoration is done at the Simcoe County Museum (SCM) or members’ homes. We rely on donated supplies, labor, and transportation services.
Weekly Work Party
We host a “Work Party” at the SCM every Wednesday from 10 am until dark. Special event work days are listed on our Event List. Members are welcome to drop in and join our maintenance group.
Combined Fleet Care
Our maintenance group oversees our “combined fleet” care, spending several days each spring and fall preparing and winterizing the equipment.
Get Involved
Join the HCEA in preserving Canada’s construction heritage. Participate in our weekly Work Party or donate supplies to help maintain our historical equipment fleet. Together, we’ll keep history alive.
